requests

Request post, post for requests! These are all public, so you can see what others are requesting and see who you might be able to write for and be inspired by other requests. All requests should go in one comment, which you can edit until the close of signups. If you hit character limit, you're welcome to reply to yourself with more requests, but do note that that will remove your ability to edit the top-level comment.

All requests must include at least one fandom + character combination from the nominations post, but given that I personally have forgotten at least three things I love, and I suspect you have too, you can request other stuff too.

Requests should follow this format:
Fandom:
Character(s):
Treat(s):
Prompt(s):
Do Not Want:

Repeat for as many fandoms as you want to request. If your Do Not Wants are consistent across all requests, you can just post them once at the end of your comment.

You will be matched on one Fandom + Character + Treat combination, e.g. The Locked Tomb + Anastasia + Get consumed by nature. In order to get your preferred character + treat combination, you may request one fandom multiple times with different characters and treats, that is, you may also separately request The Locked Tomb + Mercymorn + Kill someone. You will not then get matched with someone who offered The Locked Tomb + Anastasia + Kill someone.

Your prompts can include any /, &, or Secret Third Thing relationships you like seeing your requested characters in, and your DNWs may be used to politely and neutrally exclude relationships. Do not use your prompts or DNWs to put down characters/relationships/tropes or to box your writer into only writing one specific thing.

Any questions, leave them on the About post!

Fandom: Tolkien’s Middle-earth
Character(s): Maglor
Treat(s): Rely on their enemy for survival, Participate in some terrible science experiments
Prompt(s):
~ Who is Maglor’s enemy? Sindar? Orcs? Nazgûl? Sauron? Why is he relying on them? I don’t have specific prompts for this treat; go wild.
~ The medical horror description in the SummerofHorror comm is right up my alley, save for anything damaging the brain. Being treated as a specimen rather than a person.
~ waking up to find that things have been done to him. By who is up to you.
Do Not Want: Maglor living in sorrow on the shore for all eternity. Maglor in Mandos at any point in time. Maglor is secretly Lindir/Tom Bombadil/an orc/etc. Elrond hating Maglor. Eldritch Peredhil. Evil Valar.

Fandom: Star Wars Disney Canon
Character(s): Depa Billaba, Depa Billaba & Caleb Dume, Caleb Dume aka Kanan Jarrus, Cal Kestis & Trilla Suduri, Cal Kestis & Caleb Dume & Trilla Suduri
Treat(s): Rely on their enemy for survival, Overthrow a canon-appropriate leadership body, Participate in some terrible science experiments, Survive their canon death (unfortunately)
Prompt(s):
~ I love the Kanan comics so much. What if Depa had lived? What would have changed, for the better or the worse?
~ Depa survives… unfortunately for the Empire.
~ relying on an Imperial for survival. How long does the “goodwill” last? Or what is the price paid for that safety?
~ Empire using Jedi in involuntary, terrible science experiments. The medical horror description in the SummerofHorror comm is right up my alley, save for anything damaging the brain. Being treated as a specimen rather than a person. Waking up to find that things have been done to you.
~ I know Force-suppression devices or drugs aren’t really canon but I love them anyway
~ Kanan ends up in some sort of situation where he needs to rely on ISB Agent Kallus
~ AU where Kanan actually does survive through the Original Trilogy to see the end of the Empire
~ Does Trilla survive JFO and end up on the Mantis? Does Cal end up in her hands?
~ a no-Order 66 AU where Cal, Caleb, and Trilla are all older Padawans and they end up in an adventure gone wrong in the Coruscant undercity or on a joint mission somewhere
~ AU: Cal, Caleb, and Trilla (who escaped before being captured) somehow find each other in the vast galaxy and make problems for the Empire
Do Not Want: attachment portrayed as something good or meaning love/connection; the Jedi Order as terrible or evil or in need of reformation AKA no Jedi, Jedi Council, or Jedi Code bashing; Tatooine slave culture or Mandalorian clones; non-canonical falling to the Dark Side

Fandom: Star Wars Disney Canon
Character(s): Mon Mothma
Treat(s): Kill someone, Overthrow a canon-appropriate leadership body
Prompt(s): How far will Mon go to destroy the Empire? How does she celebrate at the end of RotJ? Glimmers of hope in the growing rebellion.
