Request post, post for requests! These are all public, so you can see what others are requesting and see who you might be able to write for and be inspired by other requests. All requests should go in one comment, which you can edit until the close of signups. If you hit character limit, you're welcome to reply to yourself with more requests, but do note that that will remove your ability to edit the top-level comment.

All requests must include at least one fandom + character combination from the nominations post, but given that I personally have forgotten at least three things I love, and I suspect you have too, you can request other stuff too.

Repeat for as many fandoms as you want to request. If your Do Not Wants are consistent across all requests, you can just post them once at the end of your comment.

You will be matched on one Fandom + Character + Treat combination, e.g. The Locked Tomb + Anastasia + Get consumed by nature. In order to get your preferred character + treat combination, you may request one fandom multiple times with different characters and treats, that is, you may also separately request The Locked Tomb + Mercymorn + Kill someone. You will not then get matched with someone who offered The Locked Tomb + Anastasia + Kill someone.

Your prompts can include any /, &, or Secret Third Thing relationships you like seeing your requested characters in, and your DNWs may be used to politely and neutrally exclude relationships. Do not use your prompts or DNWs to put down characters/relationships/tropes or to box your writer into only writing one specific thing.

leetoltreatex is a Dreamwidth-only exchange all about giving your friends a leetol treat, by writing them a 1k-2k word fic about their faves getting a leetol treat. It is also lowkey a test to see how much I like running an exchange-style event fully on Dreamwidth, and I expect it to be a little more chill and vibes-based than what you may think of as a 'typical' AO3 exchange.

There will be individual posts for fandom/character nomination, requests, and offers. All works will be posted to this community in their own post and held in mod queue until the reveals day. A Dreamwidth account is a requirement for participating, an account anywhere else is not.

Rules

• Be 18+.


• Be nice to me and other exchange participants.


• Do not include anything in your gift that your recipient explicity says they Do Not Want in their DNW list.


• Do not post your work or snippets of your work anywhere but this comm until after works have revealed here.


• RPF nominations in extremely bad taste (under-18s, non-famous people, war criminals, etc) will be yeeted. I determine what extremely bad taste is.


• The above does not apply to fictional characters. Please tell me about your favourite fictional war criminal.


• I'm not hardcapping number of fandoms/characters/DNWs or anything but I am handmatching so uh see rule #2 and maybe don't request 30 characters with 50 DNWs u kno.


• Only submit completed works, as you can't edit them once they go in the mod queue as far as I know.

• Assignments Out: On or before September 1


• Assignments Due: Four weeks after assignments go out


• Work reveals: When everyone has a gift, ideally the day assignments are due


• Creator reveals: When works reveal I'm not doing anon stuff on Dreamwidth and honestly I'm kinda over the whole anon period idea.

The Leetol Treats
There are fifteen treats you can request your faves get. You can request between 1 and 15 treats for each fave.

• Get consumed by nature


• Kill someone


• Rely on their enemy for survival


• Undergo dubiously consensual bodily modification


• Come back from the dead wrong


• Overthrow a canon-appropriate leadership body


• Acquire uninterrupted alone time with an object of their obsession


• Be corrupted by nostalgia

• See their significant other(s) corrupted by an evil force and find them even hotter now


• Participate in some terrible science experiments


• Achieve apotheosis


• Survive their canon death (unfortunately)

• Bond or merge their mind with another consciousness

There is, by design, some level of ambiguity baked in to some of these treats - how consensual is the apotheosis? is the character's mind being bonded to another person or merged into a collective hive mind? - in the interests of not having an extremely long list to handmatch. Please use your signup to give your author any prompts/notes, and please make a good-faith effort to give your recip something you believe they'll enjoy based on their prompts/notes.
