Works are due tomorrow, 30 November. While I would love to say they're due at midnight UK time, there's a nonzero chance I'll be asleep then, so really as long as it's still the 30th somewhere, you're fine.

That being said, we have one pinch hit, for lesbocannibal (view requests). DM me or post on the offers post to claim! I'd like everyone to get a gift, so I'm open to moving the reveals date if someone wants a little more time to work on it.

16 more hours for signups

Hey friends. Sorry for being relatively absent this week, I've been sick and also dealing with life admin. That being said, I've realised I built in way more matching time than I need, so this is your official warning that signups will close 9 November, 4.30pm UK time. Time to add anything else you want to your requests, make sure you've made an offer, joined the community so you can post, all that fun stuff! Very excited to see what everyone will write :3

a day and a bit left for signups!

Signups will close at 11.59PM UK time on November 7, which, in practice, means they close whenever I happen to wake up and start matching on the 8th, so - as long as it's still November 7 somewhere, you can sign up!

(And honestly if you ask nicely I'll probably give you the 8th as well, this will be another small round so I can probably match + get assignments out just fine the morning of the 9th)

offers: gorevember 2025

Sat, 01 Nov 2025 15:18:21 GMT

Posted by: fiachairecht

Offers post, post for offers! All comments here are screened, so there's some element of surprise as to what you'll be getting. All offers should go in one comment, which you can edit until the close of signups. If you hit character limit, you're welcome to reply to yourself with more offers, but do note that that will remove your ability to edit the top-level comment.

Offers should follow this format:
Fandom:
Character(s):
Treat(s):

You will be matched on one Fandom + Character + Treat combination, e.g. The Locked Tomb + Anastasia + Get consumed by nature. In order to be able to write your preferred character + treat combination, you may offer one fandom multiple times with different characters and treats, that is, you may also separately offer The Locked Tomb + Mercymorn + Kill someone. You will not then get matched with someone who requested The Locked Tomb + Anastasia + Kill someone.

You're welcome to hold off on making offers until you see what's been requested, as long as you get at least one offer in before the deadline.

Any questions, leave them on the About post for this year!

Request post, post for requests! These are all public, so you can see what others are requesting and see who you might be able to write for and be inspired by other requests. All requests should go in one comment, which you can edit until the close of signups. If you hit character limit, you're welcome to reply to yourself with more requests, but do note that that will remove your ability to edit the top-level comment.

All requests must include at least one fandom + character combination. I decided against faffing about with a nominations post this year, so if you say 'Any', you do mean 'anyone from this fandom'.

Requests should follow this format:
Fandom:
Character(s):
Treat(s):
Prompt(s):
Do Not Want:

Repeat for as many fandoms as you want to request. If your Do Not Wants are consistent across all requests, you can just post them once at the end of your comment.

You will be matched on one Fandom + Character + Treat combination, e.g. The Locked Tomb + Anastasia + Get consumed by nature. In order to get your preferred character + treat combination, you may request one fandom multiple times with different characters and treats, that is, you may also separately request The Locked Tomb + Mercymorn + Kill someone. You will not then get matched with someone who offered The Locked Tomb + Anastasia + Kill someone.

Your prompts can include any /, &, or Secret Third Thing relationships you like seeing your requested characters in, and your DNWs may be used to politely and neutrally exclude relationships. Do not use your prompts or DNWs to put down characters/relationships/tropes or to box your writer into only writing one specific thing.

Any questions, leave them on the About post for this year's round!

leetol treat: gorevember edition

Sat, 01 Nov 2025 15:14:13 GMT

Posted by: fiachairecht

leetoltreatex: gorevember edition is a Dreamwidth-only exchange all about giving your friends a leetol treat, by writing them a 500-1.5k word fic about their faves getting a leetol treat that involves gore. Yes I know the done thing is 'Goretober'. Yes I know I am probably limiting my audience by not mentioning this anywhere else previously. I don't care, we're here for vibes. And gore.

There will be individual posts for requests and offers. All works will be posted to this community in their own post and held in mod queue until the reveals day. A Dreamwidth account is a requirement for participating, an account anywhere else is not.

Rules

Be 18+.

Be nice to me and other exchange participants. If you're banned from my journal, you are also banned from this exchange.

Requests are for fandoms, characters, and leetol treats. While you can request - and might recieve - platonic, romantic, or sexual relationships, this is not a relationship-focussed exchange and those are not guaranteed. That being said, see Rule #2 and try to write something you think your recip will enjoy.

Do not include anything in your gift that your recipient explicity says they Do Not Want in their DNW list.

Do not DNW 'gore', or anything else that you are requesting. You can DNW specific, limited types of gore, e.g. 'eye-related gore'.

Do not post your work or snippets of your work anywhere but this comm until after works have revealed here.

RPF requests in extremely bad taste (under-18s, non-famous people, war criminals, etc) will be yeeted. I determine what extremely bad taste is.

The above does not apply to fictional characters. Please tell me about your favourite fictional war criminal.

I'm not hardcapping number of fandoms/characters/DNWs or anything but I am handmatching so see Rule #2 and try to be reasonable.

Only submit completed works, as you can't edit them once they go in the mod queue.

Gorevember Edition Schedule

Signups: November 1 - November 7

Assignments Out: On or before November 9

Assignments Due: November 30

Work reveals: When everyone has a gift, ideally the day assignments are due

Creator reveals: When works reveal

The Gory Leetol Treats
There are fifteen treats you can request your faves get. This list is based on, but slightly modified from, the previous round's list. You can request between 1 and 15 treats for each fave.

Get consumed by nature

Kill someone

Be dropped into a maze

Undergo dubiously consensual bodily modification

Come back from the dead wrong

Blur the lines between sex and violence

Acquire uninterrupted alone time with an object of their obsession

Be corrupted by nostalgia

Lose confidence in their own sanity

See their significant other(s) corrupted by an evil force and find them even hotter now

Participate in some terrible science experiments

Achieve apotheosis

Survive their canon death (unfortunately)

Remake someone in another's image

Learn that real gods are worshipped in blood

There is, by design, some level of ambiguity baked in to some of these treats - how consensual is the apotheosis? is the maze mental or physical? - in the interests of not having an extremely long list to handmatch. Please use your signup to give your author any prompts/notes, and please make a good-faith effort to give your recip something you believe they'll enjoy based on their prompts/notes.

leetol treats...

Wed, 09 Oct 2024 13:01:14 GMT

Posted by: fiachairecht

...have all been posted. Sorry for the reading page spam, I may have neglected to consider it until partway through approving everything in the queue.

This technically concludes the exchange, but elasticella and sonofgodzilla both sweetly said I could reveal works without them having gifts, so if you were thinking about writing for them, I'm sure they'd love something still!

You can now crosspost your works anywhere you want! I don't have collections set up anywhere or anything like that, but I know luckyzukky made an "Event: leetol treat exchange" on superlove if you're planning to post there.

I'm turning off moderation, feel free to continue to post about your faves getting leetol treats. Next time I say I'll run something at the start of the school year, uh, tell me not to!

[Legend of Korra] blood keeps pumping, heart keeps beating

for luckyzukky

Rated T for discussion of death/transformation/body horror.
Length: 1.1k

The Avatar died.

The Avatar lives.

The Avatar cycle is—

Broken?

It is hard to tell, the scholars say. It hasn’t been long enough to tell if the Avatar Spirit has found a new home in a child of the Earth Kingdom.

In the meantime, Avatar Korra remains. She is alive, or close enough that her intimates will not say otherwise, and she still wields all four elements with ease.

Title: The Price of Failure
Universe: Kamen Rider Gotchard
Treat(s): acquire uninterrupted alone time with object of their obsession, see s/o corrupted by an evil force and find them even hotter now, survive their canon death (unfortunately)
Character(s): Harima Shiori/Lachesis/Rinne
Rating: 18
Warnings: N/A
Summary: The sound of heavy breathing, panting, moaning, the girl’s head turned to one side, her lips damp with drool and protests that she did not mean. Perhaps this was punishment, Harima Shiori thought; perhaps dying had not been enough to make her aware of how surplus to requirements she was, perhaps she needed to watch this performance.

one more delay + one more pinch hit

Mon, 07 Oct 2024 00:24:17 GMT

Posted by: fiachairecht

I'm sorry, I did warn you this would be a little less formal than an AO3 exchange.

1) We have one more pinch hit (fandoms: Kamen Rider Gotchard, RWBY, Wonderful Precure!, Pokémon). Claim by dropping a note on the offers post.

2) There is also a pinch hit for The Umbrella Academy. At Ella's request it's not necessary for this to be filled for works revealed, but it would be nice!

3) The earliest works will reveal is 9pm UK time on Tuesday 8 October, depending on when the pinch hit(s) are filled.

I'm a bad mod and meant to post a reminder a week ago oops.

Fics are due October 1, according to the schedule - realistically the earliest things would reveal is October 2, since I'm in British Summer Time currently and am not staying up til silly hours in the morning to make sure things are in by California midnight or whatever. That being said, we do still have one pinch hit for elasticella's The Umbrella Academy request. (If you'd like to fill it, drop a comment on the offers post), and I really do not want to open without everyone having a gift! So how do we feel about a few days' delay? I'll make an official post in the morning.

Comments here are not screened.

I replied to everyone's offer post comment with who you're writing for, do check and make sure I've not given you someone you can't write for (and that you can, you know, see the comments). If you have any questions for your recip shoot me a DM and I'll pass the question on - there probably won't be loads of surprises with eight of us, but we can pretend for a bit :3

There is also one initial pinch hit for elasticella's The Umbrella Academy request. If you'd like to fill it, drop a comment on the offers post.

Works are due in four weeks, on October 1.

signup reminder/extension

Thu, 29 Aug 2024 02:18:08 GMT

Posted by: fiachairecht

I poked around with some stuff and I think handmatching will be easier than I'd thought, so I'm gonna say signups extended until August 30. Is it a little self-indulgent because I haven't signed up yet either and I want a little more time/a few more people yeah, but this whole thing is self-indulgent for me, so hey.

Also a quick reminder that in order to post you'll need to join the comm, not just subscribe, so make sure you do that at some point!
